CHOIR DIRECTOR

Judie has been a church musician since the age of nine, when she played hymns for Sunday School at the Sun Valley Methodist Church. At the age of fourteen, she was given the job of Organist for the main worship services. She started directing the choir while in her twenties, sometimes filling both jobs.

She was invited to be Organist at Little White Chapel in 1992 and became the Choir Director two years later. She has been an accompanist for many school choirs and classes as well, including L.A. Valley College, John Burroughs High School, and Jordan Middle School. She is a member of the Music Teachers Association of California and taught piano and organ privately for many years.

Judie was a long-time member of the National Association of Church Musicians (NACM); the LWC choir participated in many festivals sponsored by NACM, and had the extraordinary opportunity to join with a thousand other singers to perform the music of John Rutter at the City of Angels Catholic Church, with Rutter directing.

She has two sons and a daughter who are also teachers and professional musicians.

ACCOMPANIST

Tracy Stroh is an active piano instructor and accompanist in the Los Angeles community. Tracy is the Instrumental Music Director and accompanist for all choirs at Providence H.S. in Burbank in addition to being the accompanist for the Little White Chapel. He has over thirty years experience teaching and coaching students of all ages.

He has had the pleasure of working as a piano consultant for Paramount Studios and accompanying at Saint James Presbyterian Church, Burroughs High School, Los Angeles Valley College, Dolores Huerta Middle School, and Buckley School.

Mr. Stroh received his Associates Degree from Los Angeles Valley College and completed the Dick Grove School of Music keyboard performance program. He continues his education at the Berklee College of Music through online courses in electronic music production. In his spare time, Mr. Stroh can be found playing pick-up basketball at gyms throughout Burbank.

TRUSTEE

Annette is a lifelong Disciple. Her maternal grandfather was a Disciples pastor. Annette has a bachelor and masters degree in Music from UCLA. She recently retired from 40 years as a real estate broker. She owned a Century 21 and later a Prudential Real Estate company in Glendale.

Annette joined Little White Chapel with her mother in 2004. She started singing in the choir after only a few weeks. Later she started working in the church office during the time when Bill Thomas was pastor. She is presently the lead trustee on the board, an elder, the Zoom tech for worship and volunteers her services in the church office.

Annette has 2 sons: Dan, who plays his violin in church occasionally and is a music teacher at Wilson Middle School, and Brian, who is an attorney in San Francisco. She also has 2 amazing grandsons, Ozzy and Shilo. Both are sweet and brilliant.
